Daria and Stefan were both very professional and easy to communicate with from the quoting process and through to execution. We were on a very tight deadline and they both made sure that the job started on the scheduled day, as well as finished in a timely manner so that the clients could be back into their home for Christmas.
The install went very smoothly and their surrounding areas were kept tidy. Very pleased with the final result – looking forward to working together again!

Project Price: $1,000 – $9,999
Our living room had a floor to ceiling black stone fireplace. It was too dark so we called Horrocks and Co. To paint it out to look include rust and grey tones. The task seemed nearly impossible however within 2 days it was completely transformed into a warm colour stone that enhances the beauty of this century old farmhouse. They did an amazing job we are most grateful to them for restoring the room to a cozy place that we can relax in.
I have been a client and colleague over the last number of years with Horrocks & Co. and have always been extremely pleased with their creative flair, professionalism and expertise in coordinating a project without delays.
I recently hired them to paint my own 22 year old kitchen cabinets. The cabinets are solid oak and of a good quality and design, as well as the layout still being very functional.
Being a believer in reuse – recycle, as well as wanting to keep my granite countertop and limestone backsplash, Horrocks painted my cabinets in a light cream with a coffee glaze. The new finish gave my kitchen a totally new life, as well as creating a much brighter space visually. The finishing touch was the new oil rubbed bronze hardware.
A total transition was achieved at a fraction of the cost of new cabinetry!
Thank you again Daria and team!

Working with Horrocks & Co. has been a delight. I have used them both for my office and now at home. Number one they are true to their quotes. They come in at price but not sacrificing anything on the quality of paints used and precise preparation to attain a perfect job upon completion.
In my house they had to work around furnishing which were protected moved and replaced respectfully. The attention to detail leaves you in a flawlessly finished room.
In the office at their suggestion, they did a special finish in the bathroom and the kid’s play area which gave the new rooms refreshing definition.
Quality workmanship is obviously the pride of Horrocks & Co. and you need quality people to pull that off. Working with Stephan Horrocks and crew from start to finish was effortless.

Five years ago when I was looking for someone to repaint our two storey hallway, I was given a referral to Horrocks and Company. I met with Daria, the owner, at my home , and then went to her lovely studio where she had over 3000 actual sample boards to choose from. Many of their finishes are unique to their company and just stunning, I wanted something warm but bright. Daria recommended a complete make over…the ceiling stipple was removed and replaced with a finish that did not require applying new plaster; crown moulding was installed and the walls were painted and glazed to look like a parchment finish. The prep and actual work was completed so quickly, and the results were beautiful….soft, subtle, and timeless. I loved it so much that I had her repeat it in our master ensuite where it complimented our imported italian tile floors beautifully . The finish makes it durable, but if I ever need touch ups she has my file on her database and can match it perfectly . I was so impressed with their expertise and professional approach that I recommend them highly.
